Q: How much is the The Greedy Goose (the yurt)
and The Grey Gander (the shepherds hut) per night?
Sunday to Thursday night is £85/night.
Friday & Saturday night is £105/night.
The following dates are £130 per night:
February half term: 09 Feb to 18 Feb
Easter holidays: 30 Mar to 15 Apr
Early May Bank Holiday: 05 May to 07 May
Hay Festival & May half term: 23 May to 03 Jun
Summer holidays: 20 Jul to 05 Sep
October half term: 19 Oct to 28 Oct
Christmas & New Year: 21 Dec to 02 Jan 19
Q: How many does the yurt sleep?
A: There is one double bed and two single beds, so the yurt comfortably sleeps four.
Q: How many does the shepherds hut sleep?
A: Two. There is one double bed.
Q: Are children welcome?
A: Yes, most certainly. The whole experience is a great excitement, and the chickens, cats, and pony add to the fun. The yurt also has a dolls house, and an extensive Brio wooden train set.
Q: Do I have to pay a deposit?
A: Yes, if you are booking 10 weeks or more ahead we ask for a 50% deposit.
Q: When is the balance due?
A: 10 weeks before your booking date.
Q: How do I pay you?
A: Use the booking system on the Rates page to pay by credit/debit card & PayPal, or make a BACS payment to our bank account::

Q: What if we cancel?
A: You will loose your payment, unless we can manage to fit you in at another time.
Q: When can we arrive ?
A: From 3.00pm onwards. Let us know if you are going to be very late.
Q: Do we need to bring sheets, bedding, pillows, etc?
A; No, all is provided.

Q: Is the Yurt warm and dry?
A: Yes, the yurt is a Mongolian yurt with five layers and felt lining, plus it has an excellent wood burning stove to keep you warm even on the coldest of nights. It has an insulated solid wooden floor and plenty of rugs.
Q: What about wood for the stove?
A: We supply you with wood on your arrival, enough for a night, longer if its warm. If you need more we charge £5 for a bag.
Q: Are pets welcome?
A: Yes, but please call us first to discuss. They must be well behaved and kept on a lead. We have chickens wandering about, so its important you keep pets under control.
Q: Are there any shops nearby we can get some provisions?
A: Yes. Our nearest village with a shop, good butchers and a post office is Weobley, which about 15 mins away by car. The general store closes at 8.00pm, 6.00pm on Saturdays.
Q: What about petrol?
A:The nearest 24 hour garage is in Hereford (approx 12 miles).
Q: What time do we have to leave?
A: By 10.00 am on the morning of departure.
